2020 Service Change – Phone Not Required

2020 Service Change – Phone Not Required

We have some good news to share! Due to recent FCC regulation changes we are no longer required to activate a phone line for you to have our Internet. For existing subscribers, this means that we will be able to simplify your services and reduce your bill! For new subscribers, you can rest easy and enjoy the standalone Internet. 😊

Here are the options for current subscribers effective May 1, 2020:

  1. Modernize your existing phone service and save over $7/month in fees (i.e. Interstate End User Charge and Federal Universal Service Fee).

  2. Don’t use your phone? Disconnect your existing phone service and save over $10/month in fees (i.e. Interstate End User Charge, Federal Universal Service Fee, Police & Fire Fee, and County 911 Charge).

  3. Don’t want to save money? Leave your account as is and continue paying the same rate as you were before.

If options 2 or 3 are the route you’d like to take, please contact our office before Thursday, April 30th to make this change. Otherwise you will begin enjoying fewer fees and a modern phone service come May 1st!

Our office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Give us a call at 800-250-8927 or send an email to info@norvado.com if you’d like to terminate your phone service (option 2) or continue paying for plain old telephone service (option 3).
