About Norvado
In 1950, the Chequamegon Communications Cooperative was formed in Cable, Wisconsin and brought the first telephone network to townships in the Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest. Our cooperative has evolved and now, as Norvado, brings cutting-edge technology to seven counties in Northern Wisconsin. With 75 years of evolution, we remain dedicated to keeping our rural communities connected, vibrant, and competitive with big-city offerings including internet, TV, phone, and security services.

Board of Directors
As a cooperative, Norvado is overseen by a Board of Directors. Each director represents one of our seven districts. Our Board of Directors is composed of community members elected by their district constituents. Once selected, he or she serves on our board for a three-year term, after which they can run for re-election or step down. Anyone interested in serving on our Board of Directors is welcome to contact our office for more details.
