Tap Networks from the Home screen.
Tap Customer Portal in the Shortcuts.
Enable the Customer Portal.
Page Content
Enter the Network Name (SSID) that your customers will see when they search for the WIFI connection on their device. Example: Frankie’s Café WIFI.
Enter a Page Heading such as “Welcome to Frankie’s Café".
Upload a Cover Photo if desired.
Max file size: 20MB
Max Width: 1080px
Max Height: 360px
Supported Formats: .png, .jpg
Choose Terms of Service drop down:
Web Link (web address) – enter a URL leading to a text-based website including Terms of Service for Guest Portal access OR
Text Only – You may add your Terms of Service directly here.
Enter the Button Text such as “Connect".
Click Save.
Click Preview Customer Portal to review.
Branding
Tap Branding to customize your logo and colors.
Upload a logo.
Max file size: 20MB
Max Width: 400px
Max Height: 400px
Supported Formats: .png, .jpg
Enter HEX values for background color, font color, button color and button font color or click on the color box and select a color instead.
Click Save.
Click Preview Customer Portal to review.
Network Access Hours
Business owners may set hours that WIFI internet access is available to customers. They can also set time limits for length of access.
By default, the portal is always on.
Select Every Day to set a Start Time and End Time for all days of the week.
Select Custom to create custom start and end times for each day of the week. Click on each day to edit the network access hours.
Customer Portal Visitors for Login Retention
The Customer Login Retention Period is set to 30 days by default. It can be edited to 1, 15, 30, 60 or 90 days. During the selected Login Retention Period, your guests will not need to re-enter their name and email address to access WIFI. Once the login retention period has passed, a user will be required to log in again.
You may choose to email a CSV report of all guest portal data to the registered CommandWorx email address for marketing purposes. The list will store unique logins over the selected login retention period. The list will store 90 days of data and up to 10,000 unique logins. See the instruction on how to request this file below.
Tap the Customer Portal Network in Shortcuts.
Select Customer Portal Visitors.
Click Edit.
Click the arrow next to 30 days to extend the retention period to 1, 15, 30, 60 or 90 days.
Click Save.
To request Guest Portal data, select “Email Customer List File”
Email will be sent to the email address registered to your CommandWorx app. The list will include unique visitors during the selected Login Retention period.
Security
Click on Intrusion Settings to enable IPS Intrusion settings (recommended for maximum security).
Click on Additional Details to view how long security has been running and the latest update.
Network Restrictions
With SmartBiz, you may enable network restrictions for your customer WIFI portal.
Content Restrictions may be selected individually, or they may select a restriction level.
