What is Speed Calling 30 Number?
Tired of looking up those frequently called numbers that you just can’t seem to remember? Speed Calling 30 Number stores the numbers you call most often and allows you to call those numbers by dialing only two digits. These numbers can be both local or long distance.
To program Speed Calling 30 Number:
Select a two-digit code (numbers 20-49) for each number you wish to enter.
Press * 75 (On a rotary phone, dial 1175) and listen for a dial tone.
Enter the two-digit code you have selected followed by the complete telephone number you would like to program, including the 1 + area code for long distance numbers. Two beeps will confirm your entry. Then hang up.
To change a number stored in memory:
Select a two-digit code (numbers 20-49) for each number you wish to enter.
Press * 75 (On a rotary phone, dial 1175) and listen for a dial tone.
Enter the code number you originally assigned for the number you want to change followed by the new number. The older numbers will be automatically replaced in the phone’s memory with the new number.
To use Speed Calling 30 Number:
Simply press the speed dial digits that correspond to the number you want to reach followed by #. For example 22#. Your call will be dialed automatically.
Note:
For Speed Calling 8 service, use * 74 instead of * 75.
Toll charges apply on long distance calls.
Customers on Fiber service should not listen for a dial tone.
Keep a current list of your Speed Calling numbers near all of your telephone(s).
