How do I make an Operator Assisted Call?

How do I make an Operator Assisted Call?

Your local Operator can assist you in making various long distance, international and conference calls. The Operator can also assist you if you experience trouble while making a call.

To make an Operator Assisted Call

Dial 0 + Area Code + 7-Digit Number

When the Operator comes on the line, state the type of call you wish to make. For an additional service charge the Operator will place the following types of calls:

  • Conference Calls. To talk with several people at the same time, Norvado offers a conference call service. To make arrangements for this service, call toll free: 1-800-250-8927.

  • International Calls. You can usually either direct dial or use the assistance of your long-distance company operator in making international calls. If You Experience Trouble on Your Call, hang up. Then pick up the phone again and dial 0 for an operator. Explain the situation so the Operator can help you on local or long-distance calls. Operator charges apply.

Automated Operator Assisted Calls

When placing a collect or third number call, a recorded announcement will help you select the type of call and billing you desire. Operator charges apply.

Notes:
  • Service charges apply when the Operator helps place a local or long-distance call.
