Why are channels 2 and 202 blacked out?

Why are channels 2 and 202 blacked out?

Effective Monday, July 6, 2020 Fox (WEAUX) channels 2 and 202 began experiencing required blackouts. KQDS, the Fox broadcaster out of Duluth, exercised contract rights that require us to black out several time slots of other Fox stations' programming. These time slots are as follows:

Monday-Friday

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Sports/Competitions - As Scheduled

Saturday

8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
10:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Sports/Competitions - For Station

Sunday

8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Sports Competitions - By Fox
