After the Video Doorbell connects, name the device and tap Continue.
To mount the Video Doorbell in a wireless configuration, select Battery Power.
Review the tools list and tap Continue.
Confirm that the area has a strong signal for a reliable connection.
Use the live video to see if you will need the Angled Bracket to adjust the angle of your Video Doorbell.
Place the doorbell 48 inches (122 cm) above the ground for the best view.
Select Use Angled Bracket or Don’t use Angled Bracket.
If you need to use the Angled Bracket, press the Angled Bracket and Mounting Plate together so the Video Doorbell will be angled in the intended direction.
If the Angled Bracket needs to be adjusted to the other direction, detach the Angled Bracket, flip it over, reattach it to the Mounting Plate, and tap Continue.
With the terminals at the top, use the Mounting Plate as a guide to mark locations for pilot holes, drill pilot holes in the marked locations, and tap Continue. Note: Reserve a 2” (5cm) clearance above the Mounting Plate for the top of the Video Doorbell.
Align the Mounting Plate with the pre-drilled holes, use the provided screws to secure the Mounting Plate to the wall, and tap Continue.
Align the Video Doorbell to the Mounting Plate and use a down-and-in motion until you hear a click to lock the Video Doorbell to the Mounting Plate.
