Where are the UPS and ONT typically located?

Typically the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and Optical Network Terminal (ONT) are located within close proximity to each other being the UPS is required to be wired to the ONT to provide power.  The UPS requires a connection to an A/C power outlet in order to keep its Battery Backup System charged.  These are most commonly installed near where the fiber optic line enters the home, many times in a wiring closet or basement, but they can be located near computers in the home as well.
